Messages

The inbox is a vital part of the game. A majority of player-to-player interaction is done via private messages (PMs). These messages are the fastest way to get in touch with other players to discuss the game, conduct a trade, role play, talk about studding, or just have a good chat.

Message Inbox

The very first folder in your inbox contains all messages that other players send to you. You can hold up to 200 messages. Once you reach this cap, you'll need to delete some messages in order to receive more!

Sent Messages

As well as keeping a record of all the messages sent to you, your inbox has a "Sent Messages" tab which allows you to track down messages you have sent to others. Do note that if the player receiving your message deletes their PM from you, you will not be able to find the message in this folder. It's gone for good. You cannot delete messages within your "Sent Messages" tab.

Game Notifications

To ensure your main inbox is not spammed with notifications from the game or other players, automated messages (such as Daily Rollover Summaries, studding alerts, trade buyouts, etc.) will appear within this tab, making it easy to delete them all at once!

Compose New

While players also have a "Send Message" link within their dens for easy access, you can start a new message straight from your inbox!

Saved ★

If you receive some important messages you want to keep safe from potential deletion, you can "save" a message and move it into an independent tab. By unlocking "Saved Messages", you can save up to 50 additional messages that are independent of your 200 limit.
This feature costs 5 Gold Beetles to unlock and is a permanent addition.

Currencies

The two main currencies on Lioden are Silver Beetles (SB) and Gold Beetles (GB) .
Silver Beetles are the site's main, free currency.
Gold Beetles are the site's secondary, premium currency.
Clicking on your currency amounts at the top of the page will take you to pages that track your incoming and outgoing currency logs!

Currencies

The two main currencies on Lioden are Silver Beetles (SB) and Golden Beetles (GB).
" /> SB is a free currency which is used for most common items and backgrounds, as well as trading with other players.
" /> GB is a premium currency which is obtained by using real money (USD) to buy them. GB is used for luxury items.
If you are not able to purchase GB, there are other ways of getting it, such as: trading SB for GB in the trading center, selling art, selling items, trading cubs for GB, or studding your lion.

Clicking on your currency totals you will go to pages that track your spending.

Journal

Your journal is a helpful tool where you can write down memos, important notes you don't want to forget, if you're meant to finish a commission for a player, etc. Journals are private, and no one is able to see what you have written in yours.

Modbox

If you're having an issue with the game or another player, the Modbox is the best place to go.

Lioden has two main staff roles: Moderators and Admins. You are able to get into contact with either one of these roles via the Modbox.

The Modbox allows you to reach a moderator when you find someone breaking the site's rules, if you need clarification on how a game feature works, or to ask if something is within the site's rules. You can report lions, players, forum topics, etc. Your report is anonymous to the party you are reporting, and the site's staff will assist accordingly.

The Modbox can also be used to report exploits and game-breaking bugs to the site's admins. It's preferred to report exploits to the Modbox rather than the Bug Board, as other players shouldn't know about exploits.

SUBMISSION FORM

Having an issue with the game or another player?

Need some help? Have a problem? Come to the Modbox!
Lioden has two main staff roles, which are Moderators (identified with a green paw in front of their names) and Admins (identified with a gold paw in front of their names), and they are available to talk to via the Modbox.

The Modbox allows you to reach a Moderator when you find someone breaking the Terms of Service, or if you just need clarification on how a game feature works or if something is within the Terms of Service. You can report lions, members, topics, etc. anonymously, and staff will help accordingly. The Modbox can also be used to report exploits and game-breaking bugs to the Admins that other members shouldn't know about.

FAQ

Clicking on FAQ will bring you to the "Frequently Asked Questions" section of the site. It's an easy, handy directory of—you guessed it—the most commonly-asked questions that show up on Lioden!

Side Bar

Date and Time
The very top box of the side bar shows Lioden time, date and also the in-game season. In the Lioden world, the seasons will cycle according to the real life date. Dry season will occur for 9 days and will display dry, yellow grass in explore. Wet season will occur for 3 days and display wet, lush green grass in explore. Lioden also cycles through a day and night system, which changes every hour.
Directly underneath the seasons and time, are the amount of members, staff and friends you have online. This updates every time you refresh.
Event Currency
Each month, Lioden has a different special event. This event may alter different aspect of the game such as; hunting chance, season length, and NPC's in explore. Your total is kept nice and handy in the sidebar, and can be clicked on to automatically take you to the event page.
Lion Status
Energy allows your main lion to interact with the game and do things. Energy can be used to spar with a sub male, explore, breed and more. So long as your male is below 60% hunger then you will restore 10% energy every 15 minutes. If your lion is hungry then this will reduce to 1% every 15 minutes.
Hunger indicates if your lion needs to eat or not. He can eat carcasses that your hunters bring in, and can also find scraps in explore.
Experience allows your lion to level up and grow stronger. He will gain stats each time he levels up (double your level worth of stats). You can earn EXP through PvP, battles, exploring and certain items.
Impression effects how easy it is to claim a lioness in the wild. The closer you are to dreamboat the easier it is to bring that lady home. Battling and explore encounters can help increase impression.
Achievements
Achievements are an awesome little challenge to the game. As you progress through the game, passing key milestones will unlock achievement tiles. At this point achievements do not reward a prize, however they do entitle you to bragging rights! ;D
Chat Box
This is the place where the side-chat will show, if you so choose. As you navigate around the game you can chat with others via this chat box. You can hide or show it by simply clicking the 'hide' and 'show' tabs. To chat, simply type in the little bar with what you want to say, and hit 'Roar!'. If you would like, you can also add lion emoticons to your message! Simply click the lion head, and you will be presented with a little box of the different emoticons available for you to use! Click on the one you wish to use and it will be added to your message. If you have the chat box shown, you will see this section at the top of the chat box. This has the 'refresh' button to update the chat, the Chat Rules & Terms, and the ability to switch between the four chats. These four chats are the Main Chat (for general chatting), Sales Chat (for posting advertisements), Roleplay Chat (for posting ads about roleplays), and Clan Chat (for posting ads for clans). To choose from the different chats just hit the dropdown menu and select which chat you would like, then hit 'switch'. Make sure you read the rules before chatting!
Game Stats
This little box will show you some neat stats about the game! It lists the total members, lionesses owned, submales owned, and cubs bred. Those sure are some impressive numbers, aren't they?
Global Mutation Counter
By clicking this link, you will be taken to a separate page that updates once every 6 hours. It features information about the number of mutations in-game, concerning the following aspects: Total Mutations [Sorted by: Living, Deceased, Immortal and Total], Total Living Individual Mutations [Sorted by each mutation], Total Immortal Individual Mutations [Sorted by each mutation] and Total Deceased Individual Mutations [Sorted by each mutation]. If a mutation is not in the list, then none exist in the game at this time. The total count here may differ to the sidebar count, which is updated every 15 minutes.
Social Media
The cute little tiles at the bottom may look familiar for you social media folks—they are the symbols for Facebook and Twitter! That's right - Lioden is a socially-savvy, modern game that has its own Facebook page and Twitter account! If you would like to check these out, just click on the tile you want and it will link you directly to them. The various accounts post news, updates, contests, and more!
Switch Accounts
If you have two accounts, you are able to link them together on your den page. Once you've done this, this button shows up, and allows tou to switch between your accounts without having to log in and out. This does not link rollovers.
Bookmarks
Bookmarks are a super handy spot where you can bookmark any page on the site for easy access. Whether this be popular forum threads, links to your lions or lions for sale that you want to keep an eye on, trades, raffles, clans - you name it, you can bookmark it here! You can edit these at any time by clicking 'organize bookmarks.'
This will bring you to a page like this:
