Upon creating your account, you will find that you are unable to access the chat room, forums, and private messages. This is because these features are blocked for your first three rollovers; upon your fourth rollover, you'll automatically be granted access to them!
In the meantime, it's advised that you review the Code of Conduct, Forum Rules, and Terms of Service in order to avoid breaking any rules upon gaining access to these features. If you find yourself confused about a rule, or are uncertain, contact the Modbox for clarification!

The Forums
To access the Forums, select the Chatter tab near the top of your screen. This will take you to the Forums, where you'll find various categories to browse and post in. It's important to know what's permitted in each category, as each forum topic is to remain on-topic. So, let's go over a quick summary of each one; you'll also discover where you can advertise your forum topics in this section!
Forum Categories
AUTHOR TIP: Click on the arrows to "hide" that section. That'll make this section much more condensed as you read through it!
News Administrators and Owners of the site will post Community and Development Updates here, in addition to other important site news or new event news. You'll be able to comment on these topics, but you will not be able to create your own topic within this category. After a topic has been posted here, it will remain open for one-week before being locked (or for one month if it is an Event News topic), and you will no longer be able to comment on it. There is a chance that you can even get the rare King of the News achievement when commenting on a News post!
- Policy Updates Updates made to Lioden's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service will be published here.
Watering Hole Discussions that are related to Lioden. This excludes giveaways, sales, and other exchanges.
- Event Chatter Chat about official site Events. You can find them here.
- Clans & Families For group and Clan discussions. Learn about Clans here.
- Breeding Projects Trying to breed your first Tigon? An RLC? This is where you can share these types of projects!
- Lioden Theories - Non official, User-Made Theorize about Lioden's lore!
- Forum Rules Only site Administrators and Owners can post here; these rules are susceptible to change, and their topics are unable to be commented on.
Free-For-All Discussions here can be about anything, not just Lioden!
- Forum Games Create and participate in forum games. If you have created a forum topic here, you can post it in the Main Chat Room once per hour!
- Contests For non art-related contests. You can advertise your contest in the Sales Chat Room!
Share The Love! Share positive content here, Lioden-related or not!
- Giveaways Advertise free assets and entirely refunded services; you can advertise your forum topic in the Giveaways Chat Room, unless it's "Gift for Gift", then instead you'll use the Sales Chat Room. You may not ask for free or refunded assets that are not being actively offered, nor may you do this anywhere else on Lioden.
Stockpile Advertise exchanges, offers, and sales here. All of these topics can be posted in the Sales Chat Room, so long as the topic and assets being advertised are your own.
- Items If you can find it in your Hoard, you can advertise it for sale here!
- Lions Sell your lions!
- Studs Advertise your studs!
- Wanted: Lions Looking to purchase a lion with specific traits? List what you're looking for and what you'd offer in exchange!

- Raffles For non-art forum-based raffles and for advertising raffles that are being hosted via the official Raffle feature. You cannot simultaneously hold both a forum-based and official Raffle for the exact same assets, and you cannot raffle off assets that you currently have for sale/trade.
- Wanted: Items If what you're looking for would be found in your Hoard, you can list what you're looking for and what you'd offer in exchange!
- Price Checks Ask for pricing advice for any asset or service here!
- Beetles Advertise and search for Beetles to purchase!
- Looking For Studs Put out advertisements for what you're looking for in a stud!
- Reverse Breedings Advertise that you are offering/looking for reverse breedings here!
- Event Sales You can advertise that you are offering or looking for event items/currency here. If you do not have the event items or currency on hand, you cannot offer them.
Tree Carvings Sell your artwork in exchange for Lioden assets/currency or real currency. Pieces that require physical shipping cannot be searched for or offered. Your forum topic can be advertised in the Art Sales Chat Room!
- Art Sales Advertise art services here so long as the services are not coding or writing.
- Looking For Art You can advertise that you are looking for any kind of artwork here!
- Livestreams Yes, you may advertise your Livestreams here. However, this off-site content must abide by Lioden's rules, and it may not reveal anything personally identifiable.
- Original Adoptables & Recolors Sell adoptables with your own original bases and designs!
- Layout & CSS Sales Sell HTML and CSS!
- Writing and Poetry Sell your writing!
- Art Tools Share any kind of art tool; these can be tips, programs, etc.
- Art Contests Host and participate in contests for all kinds of art. This includes "decorate" and "design a lion" contests! Hosts are required to fulfill their end of the deal if a user(s) participates.
- Art Freebies For art giveaways. "Buy 1 get 1" does not fall within this category, as a purchase is still required.
Game Development Post ideas, suggestions, and critiques for Lioden here. Be sure that your post is not a duplicate of an existing suggestion, and that it contains thorough feedback. "This needs to be changed" without providing a new direction helps no one! You can advertise your suggestions once per hour in the Main Chat Room, as long as it belongs to you!
- Game Art: Ingame art general ideas If it's an art idea/suggestion that doesn't fall into the other Game Art sub-forums, post it here!
- Game art: Mane ideas For mane styles!
- Game art: Base/manebase ideas For base and mane colours!

- Character Sheets Character Sheets are for Character Sheets only! Discussions and roleplaying are considered spam in this section, and each post that you make here notifies the Moderator Team. Making Character Sheet posts outside of this sub-forum is against the rules.
Game Help Get help with the game here. You can also ask questions in the Main and Help Chat Rooms! Comments to posts within this forum can be rated as "Helpful" or "Not Helpful" by players -- the replies with most "Helpful" votes will appear on the top, regardless in which order they were posted on the thread! Please remember that asking players to vote a certain way on such comments is not allowed.

Recent Activity & Topics
Now that you've seen and read over the Forum categories, you've probably noticed the Recent Activities and Recent Topics sections. These features can be a little confusing at first!
Recent Activity randomly cycles through the more recent posts made to topics, while Recent Topics randomly cycles through the more recent topics posted. As a result of this, your feed will end up with a lot of variety! If you'd like to narrow your feeds, select Customise Feed.
Uncheck all of the forums and sub-forums that you do not wish to have appear in your feed. News, Policy Updates, and Forum Rules cannot be unchecked.
Once done, click save!
Searching For Topics
If browsing through categories is not helping you find what you're looking for, or you're looking for a very specific topic, you do have the option to search the Forums. To do this, select Search Boards on the top navigation bar.
- Keywords: Input words related to what you're trying to find here. Check search subject only if you want your search to go by topic name versus topic name and main post's contents.
- Poster ID: Input the ID of the player whose posts you're looking for. You can only put in one ID at a time!
- Board: Use the dropdown to select a forum or sub-forum. This will significantly help narrow your search results!
Once done, click search, and you'll be provided with a list of topics that match your search.
The Forums: Commenting
While browsing the Forums, there's a chance that you'll find yourself wanting to comment on a topic. Thankfully, it's pretty intuitive, but we're still going to go over it!
At the bottom of a topic, you will find yourself presented with the following:
You'll type your response in the empty field, and once you feel that your draft is ready to go, you'll select Reply to Thread! However, while drafting up a response, be sure to take note of these features:
- Lion Icon: Select from a list of Lioden emotes to have in your post.
- Bottom Right Corner Triangles: Drag outwards to expand the box that you're typing in.
- Reset: Will clear your current draft.
- Preview: See what your draft would look like if it were posted!
- Bump Thread!: This will bump the forum topic to the top of the forum category that it's in.
- Keep me notified of responses to this thread: If checked, you will receive a notification if a new comment is posted to this topic.
Responses do support HTML, however, best to keep the HTML within your post basic if you're responding to someone else's forum topic!
When viewing forum comments, you'll find that there are a small handful of things that you can click on within those comments:
- Player Name & ID: Clicking this will take you to the Den Page of the commenter!
- View Forum Posts: Clicking this will show you the forum activity of the commenter!
- … Players Like: Clicking this will show you who has liked that comment!
- Like?: Clicking this will make it so that you've liked a post!
- Comment ID: Clicking the number in the top right corner will make you jump to that comment. You can retrieve a comment's direct URL from this link!
There is also a cool feature that auto-saves your drafts in case you accidentally click away during writing or your browser session is somehow disturbed. In this way, no more lost drafts! Hooray!
The Forums: Your Topics
Posting a Topic
To post a forum topic, you'll first want to select Post New Topic at the top of the Chatter page.
- Board: Select the forum or sub-forum that fits your topic best.
- Subject: Put the title of your forum topic here.
- Body: Fill out your "main post" here. This will be the foundation of your topic!
- Post: Publish your forum topic!
- Report A Bug: Takes you to the Bug Box.

Now that you've published your forum topic, you have some new options presented to you. The first is editing your forum topic's main post, which can be done by pressing Edit Post at the bottom of your main post. Doing this will present you with the following screen:
- Subject: To update the name of your forum topic, type here!
- Dropdown: Put your topic in the wrong forum or sub-forum? Select the correct one here.
- Post Field: Update the contents of your main post here!
- Preview: View your draft changes as if it were published!
- Edit: Publish your changes!
Deleting Your Forum Topic
You cannot delete your forum topic yourself. Instead, you can flag it for deletion! This will hide your topic from the public, and only you and the Moderator Team will be able to see it. Once the Moderator Team has reviewed you forum topic, it will be deleted, and you will no longer be able to view it.
To flag your forum topic for deletion, press Flag for Deletion at the bottom of your main post! Once it has been flagged, only you (the topic creator) and the Moderator Team will be able to view it from that point on, and you will see a red banner informing you of such on the top of the page:
In case flagging it was a mistake, do not fear! You can still Unflag it safely, and it will no longer appear as flagged for the Moderator Team! 
Reporting Content
Come across a rule-break? Have an uninvited, random advertising comment posted on your forum topic? Report it! This can be done by pressing the red flag on a post's header, near the thread's title:

After pressing report, you'll be taken to this screen:
Within the empty field, fill out the reason for your report. Once you're done, you'll select Send This Report. This opens a ticket within the Modbox, which you can view at any time. At this stage, keep an eye out for your Moderator Notifications within your Messages, as the responses that the Moderators make to your ticket will be found there.
The Forums: Your Activity & Subscriptions
At the top of the Chatter page, you'll find yourself with tabs for Your Activity and Your Subscriptions. By selecting Your Activity, you'll be taken to a list of your topics and replies.
By selecting Your Subscriptions, you'll be taken to a list of topics that you are subscribed to as well as your recent notifications.
To clear your notifications, select Clear All Notifications to clear out the threads listed within your Recent Notifications.
To unsubscribe from a topic, check the box to the left of it, and select Unsubscribe from Checked. Should you wish to unsubscribe from all of the topics that you are currently subscribed to, select Unsubscribe from All instead.
You can also subscribe or unsubscribe to a topic by selecting that option on that topic's main post by clicking ✔ Subscribe .
