The Personality Snake is an NPC that sells three unique items. Each of these items is a mask that allows you to change the personalities of the lions in your Pride, including your Main Male! Personalities greatly impact your gameplay, so it's important to know what they do, and how to change them.
Hi! Are you new to Personalitiesss?
There's five main categories - Evil, Snarky, Neutral, Kind and Good. The personalities that your lions show belong to each category and are different for males and females. Good and Evil personalities appear in cubs if your karma is high or low enough. Some clash with each other and some, like leading male'sss - can affect whole pride! Neutral personalities don't have any effects within pride so they're best if you're new to this! I'm sssssure other lions will help you figure out the rest of the details! In the back of my sssshop I have a chart of all known male personalities, if you're interested.

Personality Categories
There are five total personality categories, each one having its own overall effect on your Pride:
- Evil
- Good
- Kind
- Neutral
- Snarky
Pride Personality Effects
Each time you rollover, your lions' moods will drop by 5%, 10%, or 20%. These deductions are the result of your Main Male's personality type either clashing, harmonizing, or remaining neutral with your lions' personalities.

Please note that the Main Male personality, Loner (Neutral) is an exception to these percentages. Rather than all the lions in your Pride having a -10% mood drop, they'll instead receive a -5% drop.

The personality of your Main Male, alongside having a potential effect on the lions in your Pride, also provides you with gameplay benefits!

| Hyperactive | Snarky | Button to gain +30% energy per rollover if your energy is below 70%. |
| Loner | Neutral | Pride members only lose -5% mood per rollover. |
| Mysterious | Neutral | Deals additional damage during nighttime battles. |

| Protective | Good | No energy loss when sending lions in your Pride to the Nature Reserve. |

| Unscrupulous | Evil | Ability to "punish" lionesses for an unsuccessful hunt to gain a random carcass once per rollover. |

At the moment, the personalities of your lionesses (other than Nurturing) have no effect other than their mood drops. However, you may get unique flavour texts while visiting their pages for the first time on a day!

Nurturing will allow your lioness to protect up to 6 cubs instead of 5.
Personality Masks
The following 3 masks can be purchased from the Personality Snake. These masks are available year-round and are not available for purchase in any other shop. Please note that the Lion Mask, Sangoma Ancestral Mask, and Sangoma Lion Mask cannot be used to obtain event-specific personalities!
Lion Mask
This mask will make your lion switch personality to a random common one (Kind/Neutral/Snarky).
Sangoma Ancestral Mask
This special Ancestral Mask will let you pick any (non-event) personality for your lion. (Good/Kind/Neutral/Snarky/Evil).
Sangoma Lion Mask
A special Lion Mask made by Sangoma shamans will let you pick a common personality for one of your lions. (Kind/Neutral/Snarky).
Event-Specific Masks
These masks can only be purchased from exclusive shops, and they may be used to obtain event-specific personalities.
March Personality Changer
When using this item, you will be given two personality choices: Vicious (Evil) and Protective (Good). These personalities do not pass onto cubs.
May Personality Changer
Change your lion's personality into Stoic and lose only 7 energy per successful battle instead of 10. This personality does not pass onto cubs.
