The Rogue Trader was introduced in November Development Update #62. The feature allows players to immediately refund most purchases from event and site shops as a form of self-service.
Rogue Trader
With a loud flap of feathery wings, a red-faced eagle lands on a branch nearby. He observes you with a beady eye and leans forward conspiratorially.
"Those shop keepers rely on FOMO to get their sales, then say no refunds? I've gotcha, pal. Got any wares you want to sell? I'll buy them back from you, no problem-o."
He shuffles his wings and stares at you expectantly.
The Rogue Trader offers to buy back items that you regret purchasing, or that you've purchased by mistake. The items must come from an official site shop, such as event shops, Monkey Business, and so on. It will not offer to buy back items that you've purchased from other players via Branches, Trading Center, or Custom Decors.

Selling Items
Rogue Trader will only accept items that were purchased not longer than an hour ago from an official site shop, and that were not already used, thrown out or sold. Once an item has been sold to the Rogue Trader, it will not be able to be bought from him again.

Sale History
Once you move to the Recent Sales section, the trader will show you a list of items that you've sold him within the past 30 days.
