Anubis bows and approaches Thoth, and so they begin discussing the current events. Sometimes they talk in their language and sometimes they switch back so that you can be included when they discuss things pertaining to you and your pride.
It feels nice.
You smile despite being thoroughly confused by their words, and nod. Anubis sits next to you.
"I will gladly take Thoth out to enjoy the world again. He deserves to experience everything here on the mortal plane again, before we'll have to go back."
What does a god from behind the veil of death enjoy here in the mortal world? Perhaps only they know.
"You're welcome to visit anytime, mortal. I will help Anubis prepare for the battle. Do what you must to help him." When Thoth speaks, his words echo in your head as if your thoughts are speaking aloud as spoken words.
"[NAME], Thoth spoke with the air and the earth. They are vessels of the Ancient gods Geb and Nut here on the mortal plane, and they had news. Apparently some lions have started worshiping the Serpent..." he trails off, scared to even mention the Snake in the presence of the most primeval deity.
Thoth proclaims this with finality, and you know Anubis will obey. Looks like there will be no rest until the Serpent has been defeated.
Thoth nods and continues his discussion with Anubis. Looks like you should go back and prepare for what's next.
This ends Chapter 2 of the Shrine Passage if you are aligned with Anubis. For the remainder of the month, you will be able to access an expanded Daily Quest pool with Anubis, as well as access the Shrine of Thoth to purchase items.
