The theme for 2016 April Fools was the genderbender theme! All lions appeared as the opposite sex, and the Lab Test Frog item became available as a result, allowing this effect to be applied to lions year-round! The item can be purchased from the Oasis for 2 GB.

We will refrain from posting pictures for this as the visual effect would just appear as if the lion was of the opposite sex. Their in-game sex hasn't changed, though! It was just the visuals.

This year, Lioden celebrated April Fools by turning lions' bases GREEN! Alongside this, a cool new item was added to the Oasis, and it returns annually on April 1st each year, which allows you to change your lion's base to Green. The applicator is called Feast of (April's) Fools and costs 2 GB.
