Sex Neutral Items

The following items can be used on one or both sexes prior to a breeding.

Leopard Tail

Boosts the chance of a random rosette on cubs by 5% if criteria is met. Also boosts the chance of a Pardus marking on cubs if criteria is met, and boosts the chance for existing Pardus markings to pass down. This effect stacks if used on both parents.

Use

Leopard Tail boosts the chances of a random rosette appearing on a cub if the criteria for rosettes are met. Any breeding can be eligible for a rosette, but certain rosette types have specific criteria. The boost chance is 5% if a Leopard Tail is used on either parent. If Leopard Tail is used on both parents, the effect will stack and there will be a 10% boost for a spontaneous rosette.
Leopard Tail also boosts the chance of a Pardus marking mutating if conditions for a Pardus mutation are met. Leopard Tail also boosts the chance of an existing Pardus marking passing down. If used on both parents, this effect stacks.

How to Get

Notes

* The chance for a spontaneous rosette rolls for each cubs in the litter.
* Leopard Tail does not affect the pass rate of the parents' existing rosettes.
* If an Ochre Gnawrock is used on a Mottled Rosette with a Leopard tail, the Gnawrock prevents a Pardus mutation from occurring.

Ochre Gnawrock

Give this to your chosen lion/stud to make their next litter inherit one marking of your choice. Their offspring will inherit the marking in the same slot with the same opacity as the parent. Can only be used once per parent per breeding.

Use

Ochre Gnawrocks will guarantee that a lion's chosen marking will pass down to all cubs in their next immediate breeding. The marking will be in the same slot as the parent's, with the same opacity that the parent's marking has. Only one Ochre Gnawrock can be used per parent, so you can effectively secure one marking from each parent for a breeding.

* Ochre Gnawrock affects all cubs in the litter and must be used before breeding.
* If you, for some reason, give two parents an Ochre Gnawrock in the same marking slot, the mother's item will be used and the father's will remain unused, carrying on the effect onto his next breeding.

Ochre Powder

Increases the chance of non-rosette markings passing to cubs by 10%. This effect stacks if used on both mother and father. It can be used with Ochre Gnawrock - it will ignore guaranteed slot and increase chances of others.

Use

Ochre Powder gives a 10% boost to the chance of a lion passing their non-rosette markings to cubs in their next immediate breeding. This effect can be stacked by using Ochre Powder on both the mother and the father, giving a 10% boost to each parent's non-rosette markings.

Notes

* If an Ochre Powder is used with an Ochre Gnawrock, the guaranteed slot of the Ochre Gnawrock will be ignored and other non-rosette markings of the lion are given a 10% passing boost.
* If an Ochre Powder is used with a Leopard Tail, Ochre Powder will boost the passing chance other markings, but it will not affect the change of a rosette showing up in the breeding.

Ochre Saltlick

Give this salt lick covered with ochre dust to your chosen lion/stud to make their next litter inherit the mane shape and mane colour from the parent you chose.

Use

Ochre Saltlick will quarantee your chosen lion passing their mane colour and mane shape in their immediate next litter.

Opal Saltlick

Give this mineral to your chosen lion/stud to make their next litter inherit the eye colour from the parent you chose.

Use

Opal Saltlick will guarantee the passing of your chosen lion's eye colour in their next immediate breeding.

Give this mineral to your chosen lion/stud to make their next litter inherit the skin colour from the parent you chose.

Use

Rock Salt will guarantee your chosen lion passing their skin colour in their next immediate breeding.

The following items can be used on the female only prior to a breeding.

Angelic Blessing

This item will bless your lioness with a perfect womb! During every breeding, she will act as if she has a permanent Black Stallion effect. Warning - removing the decor will remove the effect.

Use

Angelic Blessing gives a permanent Black Stallion effect to your lioness, making her pregnant instantly upon breeding despite her fertility percentage. Since Angelic Blessing does not raise fertility, she retains the natural mutation chance of her actual fertility. Angelic Blessing also has a decor effect on your lioness, giving her an angelic glowy frame!

Flavour Text When Used

Your chosen lioness feels a sudden warmth of love. Gentle sun-like sparkles dance on her fur as she moves.

Baobab Fruit

This item can be used on your chosen lioness to extend her heat for one more day. It cannot be used on a lioness's first day of heat.

Black Stallion

This amazing stallion will make your female burst her ovaries in awe of the shiny looks and yummy taste! Once used, she will become pregnant next breeding ignoring fertility! This cannot be used on infertile lionesses.

Use

Black Stallion will make your lioness get pregnant immediately on her next breeding, no matter her fertility. Since Black Stallion does not raise fertility, she retains the natural mutation chance of her actual fertility. Black Stallion provides a one-time boost and the effect will be removed once your lioness gets pregnant.

Chasteberry

This item boosts fertility in females temporarily (until successful breeding).

Use

Chasteberry provides a temporary 10% boost to your lioness's fertility percentage. The boost will last upon her next successful breeding. Only four Chasteberries may be used on a lioness for one breeding.

How to Get

Purchase from Fertility Snake for 100 SB.

* Multiple Chasteberries can be stacked, until she reaches 100% fertility.

Cotton Root Bark

This herb will induce a miscarriage on any pregnant lioness. The lioness will come back into heat again in 3 days. Her mutation chance will increase, as well as the lethality of the mutation.

Use

Give this to your lioness to miscarry her current litter and enter a 3 day long breeding cooldown. Once she comes back into heat, her mutation chance is increased, as well as the lethality of the mutation.

Flavour Text When Used

Your lioness eats the bark, more or less agreeing with your decision of terminating the pregnancy. She has not grown attached to the litter yet, so she won't mourn, however she needs some time before she is in heat again.

* Cotton Root Barks are the only way to terminate a pregnancy.
* As Cotton Root Barks are the most cost-efficient way to boost mutation chance, players often start dedicated Cotton Root Bark projects in order to hunt rare mutations.
* The breeding cooldown induced by Cotton Root Barks can be skipped with a Zebra Heart, Shadow of Deaths or Yohimbe Barks.
* Cotton Root Barks cannot be "stacked" as the boosted mutation chance is used instantly upon the next breeding.

Crunchy Worm

Upon use, a lioness's next breeding will have a 25% chance to duplicate the mother's looks onto 1 cub from the litter. This item will not copy mutations.

Divine Nectar

Boosts fertility to 100% for one breeding.

Use

Give this to your lioness to raise her fertility to 100% for her next immediate breeding. Divine Nectar boosts the actual fertility of the lion.

In response to locust plaguing the crops, humans created genetically modified cattle. Who knows what will happen to lioness's next litter if she eats some of this meat! - [next breeding, high chance of mutated cub but not 100%]

Use

Giving a GMO Cow to your lioness significantly raises the mutation chance of her next immediate litter. The mutation chance is high but not 100%.

* Instant Cub Delivery is commonly referred to as "IBF" (Instant Birth Feather) by players.

Lion Meat

Cannibalism is unnatural enough to cause your lioness's next breeding to have a low chance to result with a mutated cub. (Chance is much greater than 1% fertility would have, but lower than GMO cow).

Use

Lion Meat raises the mutation chance of your lioness's next immediate breeding. This chance is greater than natural mutation chance at 1% fertility, but lower than GMO cow's.

Flavour Text When Used

You give the lion meat to your lioness, convincing her it's just a slightly-rotting antelope. After eating it, she exclaims that she feels very sick. Cannibalism is... unsettling. Not only because you intentionally hid where the meat came from, but it clearly did something bad to her body.

* Lion Meat grants a higher mutation chance than Cotton Root Barks, but a lower chance than GMO Cows.

Lion Scrotum

Use this on a mutated lioness for a 25% chance per cub (5% if DU) to pass her mutation as long as it has no extra requirements. Effect triggers last if cubs do not have a mutation. Uses GMO/LM slot. Hybrids, Primals, Felis, Ferus and Mngwa excluded.

Use

Lion Scrotums grant a 25% chance per cub to pass her mutation, when used on a mutated lioness with a not-naturally-passing mutation as long as it has no extra reguirements. In the case of Double Uterus, Lion Scrotums give a 5% chance per cub to pass the mutation. Cannot be used with the following mutations: hybrids, primal variations and mngwa.

Mukombero

Give this to a non-mutated lioness, then breed her at night in order to invoke the primal spirits. One cub from her next litter will become a Ferus beast, sworn by the spirits to hunt down any human outlaws that dare to murder the sacred African wildlife.

Use

Give this to an un-mutated lioness to ensure that her next immediate litter has one guaranteed Ferus primal cub. The lioness must be bred at night.

Flavour Text When Used

Your lioness consumes the roots and seems to be dozing off into some kind of trance from time to time.

This item will age your lioness by 1 day! It will help bypassing cooldowns but it will also cut short the hunting time and her life!

Give this item to age your lioness by 1 day. Shadow of Death helps to bypass any cooldowns the lioness may be under at the cost of her remaining life.

Your lioness cowers in fear of some heavy, crushing presence above her. It's as if the death is crawling nearer.

This item lowers fertility of a lioness temporarily (until next successful breeding).

How to Get

* Using Tackweeds on a lioness coupled with natural fertility loss due to age can cause a lioness to have negative fertility, making her unbreedable. You can reset this negative fertility at the Fertility snake!

Vuka Vuka

This item allows you to change your chosen lioness's fertility category (excluding Goddess and Infertile). The exact percentage cannot be chosen, and your lioness is still susceptible to the fertility-lowering effects of aging.

Use

Give this to your lioness to choose a new fertility level for her. You cannot chose the exact percentage and her fertility is still affected by aging. Goddess and Infertile fertility categories cannot be chosen.

This item can be fed to your chosen lioness to force her immediately into heat, ONLY if she is not currently on a breeding cooldown.

Male Only

The following items can be used on the male only prior to a breeding.

Buffalo Scrotum

Use this on your main male to guarantee a minimum of 3 cubs in his next immediate breeding.

Use

Give this to your king or a stud to quarantee a minimum of 3 cubs in his next immediate breeding. If a Buffalo Scrotum is used and the stud breeds a Double Uterus lioness, the litter will have 4, 6 or 8 cubs. In any other cases the litter will have 3 or 4 cubs.

Cape Bulrush

This... 'tasty'-looking aphrodisiac will enhance your stud's performance and give him an additional 3 studding slots for the week! Only a maximum of 2 per week can be used.

Use

Give this to your king to give him 3 additional studding slots for the week. Total of 2 Cape Bulrushes can be used per week, meaning a stud can have 21 studding slots in total for the week.

Flavour Text When Used

It's about as tasty as it looks. You now have 3 more studding slots this week!

Use this item on your king (or stud) to boost the chances of a mutation variation for their next immediate litter. Works for only one breeding at a time. Currently can only be given to Primals. Boosts chance of a Ferus cub if both parents are Ferus.

Use

Give to a stud with the Primal, Primal (Felis), Primal (Ferus), or Primal (Smilus) mutations before breeding to boost the chances that a Primal variation will be produced in their immediate litter. If given to a Primal (Ferus) stud before he breeds to a Primal (Ferus) lioness, the chance of a Primal (Ferus) cub being produced is boosted.

Your lion eats the odd herb. Their breath smells minty now! The dizziness and pain are not as fun, though.
