Bast approaches Horus excitedly and they start to chatter.
Sometimes they talk in their language and sometimes they switch back so that you can be included when they discuss things pertaining to you and your pride.
It feels nice.
You smile despite being thoroughly confused by their words, and nod.
Bast sits next to you.
"I will gladly take Horus out to stretch out his wings and enjoy the rays of Ra again. The sun, as you call it."
You nod, smiling as Horus flaps their wings in preparation.
"You're welcome to visit anytime, mortal. I will help Bast prepare for the battle. Do what you must to help her." Horus speaks with a soft yet powerful voice. He commands your respect.
"[NAME], Horus spoke with the air and the earth. They are vessels of the Ancient gods Geb and Nut, still very much alive, and they had news. Apparently some lions have started worshiping the Serpent..." she almost whispers, scared to say it louder, as if it could lure the snake to the temple.
Horus gives his order, and you know Bast will obey. Looks like there will be no rest until the Serpent has been defeated.
Horus nods and continues his discussion with Bast. Looks like you should go back and prepare for what's next.
This ends Chapter 2 of the Shrine Passage if you are aligned with Bast. For the remainder of the month, you will be able to access an expanded Daily Quest pool with Bast, as well as access the Shrine of Horus to purchase items.
