Achievements were added to Lioden as a fun way of challenging yourself to do things you haven't done before! They're also a great way to compete with other players on who's done the most with their pride and leaders. Some of them may be easy, while others are difficult and rely on luck—there are even achievements you probably didn't know existed! All of the achievements are definitely possible; they just take a little bit of effort and a little bit of luck.

Breeding
Breeding achievements are awarded through breeding with lionesses and using items to increase your odds of getting specific cubs.

Pitter Patter
Your first litter of cubs has been born.
How to Get
Have a lioness successfully give birth to a litter of cubs. The best way to ensure a successful birth is to nest your lioness prior to her giving birth, as this guarantees she will deliver her cubs and not miscarry.
Reaching New Heights
Have a cub born with 100 or more stats.
How to Get
Make sure one or both parents have over 400 stats, and breed them together.
Bare Necessities
Have a cub born without any markings.
How to Get
Breed together two markingless lions, or as few markings as possible. You can still get this achievement even if both parents have 20 markings each—it's just very rare.
Are You Sure That's A Lion?
Have a cub born with a Cheetah or Hyena marking.

Breed together two lions that have markings containing the words "Cheetah" or "Hyena".
Bountiful
Have a litter of four cubs born.
How to Get
It's possible to get a four cub litter without using any breeding items, but to increase your odds, you can use a Buffalo Scrotum on the male lion.
Special Snowflake
Have a cub born with a Special rarity base.

Breed together two lions that have a Special rarity base for the best odds of getting this achievement.
Passing On The Family Traits
Have a cub born with a mutation.
How to Get
Using Cotton Root Barks, GMO Cows, and Lion Meat on your lionesses gives you an increased chance of mutations. Check the Mutations page for more information.
An Unfortunate Birth
Have a cub born with a lethal mutation.
How to Get

If At First You Don't Succeed...
Have a total of 250 failed breeding attempts.
How to Get
The lower your lioness's fertility, the more chances it may take for her to become pregnant. Breeding to a 1% fertility lioness gives you the best odds of having a failed breeding attempt.
Not Meant To Be
Have a total of 500 failed breeding attempts.

The lower your lioness's fertility, the more chances it may take for her to become pregnant. Breeding to a 1% fertility lioness gives you the best odds of having a failed breeding attempt.

Have a total of 1,000 failed breeding attempts.

How to Get
The best odds of getting this achievement is by breeding to a male lion with 8,000 or more stats. The lioness's stats do not entirely matter, but the higher her stats, the better the odds of producing cubs with high stats.
Fairly Odd Parents
Have a hybrid cub born.
How to Get
The easiest way to achieve this would be to own a female hybrid, preferably first generation as they have a 10% chance per cub to pass down their mutation. Use a Buffalo Scrotum, then breed with her, and hopefully you'll breed a hybrid cub!
Combo Creation
Have a cub born with a combo base.
How to Get
Combo bases can only be achieved by breeding two factor bases together, breeding a factor to its combo, or breeding two of the same combo together. Check the Combo Bases page for more information.
What A Rarity
Have a cub born with a Rare base.
How to Get
Breed together two lions that have Uncommon, Rare, or Special rarity bases for the best odds of getting this achievement.
Something A Bit Odd
Have a cub born with an Uncommon base.

Great Genetics
Have a litter born with more than one cub where all cubs are mutated.

Nothing Unusual
Have a cub born with a Common base.
How to Get
Any breeding can result in a Common base, and it is likely you will get this achievement from one of your first few breedings.
Bigger Opportunities
Have a cub born with 500 or more stats.
How to Get
The best odds of getting this achievement is by breeding to a male lion with 2,500 or more stats. The lioness's stats do not entirely matter, but the higher her stats, the better the odds of producing cubs with high stats.
Not Exactly Patient
Use an Instant Birth Feather on a pregnant lioness.
How to Get
Breed a lioness, nest her, then use an Instant Cub Delivery on her to have her immediately give birth to a litter.
Unprepared
Lose a litter due to not having a nest.
How to Get
Breed a lioness, then avoid nesting her throughout her pregnancy. There is a 50% chance that she will lose her litter due to not being nested. This achievement is not compatible with the Auto-Nesting tool.
Just One?
Have a one cub litter born.
How to Get
One cub litters are the most common litter size, so it is likely you will get this achievement from one of your first few breedings. Avoid using Buffalo Scrotums, Grains of Paradise, and breeding to Double Uteruses in order to get this achievement, as none of these will result in a one cub litter being born.
Extensive Family
Sire 10 cubs.
How to Get
This achievement can easily be earned over time by breeding to lionesses within your pride, although you can speed up the process by mass-breeding your pride leader.
Family Planner
Sire 20 cubs.
How to Get
This achievement can easily be earned over time by breeding to lionesses within your pride, although you can speed up the process by mass-breeding your pride leader.
Too Many Mouths To Feed
Sire 40 cubs.
How to Get
This achievement can easily be earned over time by breeding to lionesses within your pride, although you can speed up the process by mass-breeding your pride leader.
Widening The Gene Pool
First successful studding to a lioness outside of your pride (first time you accept a stud request to your king).
How to Get
Set a studding fee for your pride leader. Once another player sends a stud request for their lioness to your pride leader, accept the stud request, and you'll get this achievement.
A Lovely Affair
First time using another lion's studding services.
How to Get
Send a stud request for your lioness to another player's pride leader. Once they accept the stud request, you'll get this achievement.
A Horse for an Heir
Use a Black Stallion on one of your lionesses.
How to Get
Give a Black Stallion to one of your lionesses through your Hoard.

Exploring achievements all can be won through exploring over time. You don't need to do anything special for most of these—just click that paw print.

Claim a total of 50 lionesses in explore.
How to Get
Use Catnip to attract NCLs to your pride leader for 30 minutes per Catnip used—this way, you'll come across more NCLs, and have more chances to successfully claim them.
Martyr Blood
Achieved for brutally murdering a good lion in explore.
How to Get
You must be at -400 karma or lower to come across this encounter. Check out the Karma Encounters page for more information.
Dove of Peace
Achieved for impressing an evil lion in explore.
How to Get
You must be at 400 karma or higher to come across this encounter. Check out the Karma Encounters page for more information.
Not My Type
Leave the claiming screen.
How to Get
While in the claiming screen, hit the "Leave" button to leave the encounter and get this achievement.
Good or Evil?
Become King of the Jungle or Deathlord of the Jungle.
How to Get
Your pride leader must reach 1,000 total positive or negative karma, at which point the achievement will automatically unlock. The quickest way to get that much karma would be through Vulture Eggs, which offer +/-20 karma per item! If you are completely neutral (0 karma), hatching or eating 50 Vulture Eggs will instantly earn you 1,000 positive or negative karma.
Battling
Battling achievements, as you can tell from the name, are achievements that you can earn while your pride leader is battling against opponents in Explore. You don't need high stats to get these, but they do help!

Lost your first NPC battle.
How to Get
Losing to any NPC battle will trigger this achievement. For lower level NPCs, try the "Rest" or "Roar" actions to antagonise your opponent.
Come At Me Bro
Won your first NPC battle.
How to Get
The easiest NPCs to get this achievement with would be soft-skinned NPCs such as Boerboels, Geladas, Humans, or Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Use "Grab", then "Claw" your way to victory!
Qualifier
Win 10 NPC battles.
How to Get
You can get this achievement slowly over time. To make it go by faster, you can use Lucky Feet against every opponent you encounter in Explore.
Challenger
Win 100 NPC battles.
How to Get
You can get this achievement slowly over time. To make it go by faster, you can use Lucky Feet against every opponent you encounter in Explore.
Champion
Win 1,000 NPC battles.
How to Get
You can get this achievement slowly over time. To make it go by faster, you can use Lucky Feet against every opponent you encounter in Explore.
Master
Win 10,000 NPC battles.
How to Get

How to Get
If you're careful with the actions you take, and make sure to battle lower level opponents, this is easy to get. If you'd rather not take your chances, you can use 5 Lucky Feet in a row to autowin your battles.
Skill or Luck?
Win 10 NPC battles in a row.
How to Get
If you're careful with the actions you take, and make sure to battle lower level opponents, this is easy to get. If you'd rather not take your chances, you can use 10 Lucky Feet in a row to autowin your battles.
Zen Master
Win 50 NPC battles in a row.
How to Get
The best way to achieve this is to stock up on Lucky Feet (available during April and August) and use them to win all 50 battles.
Just Getting Started
Won an NPC battle with 90% or more health remaining.
How to Get
Your health bar does not really tell you how much you have left. Make sure you "Rest" before you lose too much health. You may get lucky and not have any health taken from you at all in a battle.
Playing It Safe
Retreat from an NPC battle.
How to Get
To do this, hit "Flee". Fleeing from lower level opponents is very easy; most of the time, you'll get away successfully.
General
General achievements are focused all around the site, not in one specific area. You can get these from being active in multiple areas of the site, including the forums!

Join Lioden and roll your very first male lion.
How to Get
If you're a new player, you'll automatically receive this once you make your pride leader. If you're an older player, you can get this by rerolling your pride leader.
It's Raining, It's Pouring
Experience your very first Wet Season.
How to Get
This achievement will automatically be awarded to you once it becomes Wet Season. You can see what season it is on the sidebar above your pride leader's information.
D'oh
Have 99% EXP and 0% Energy.
How to Get
EXP will come naturally to you through fights and some encounters in Explore. Around level 5, you will start noticing your EXP will go to 99% rather than instantly hitting 100%. Make sure not to get any more EXP once you're at 99% and waste all your energy to trigger this.
They All Love Me
Raise your Impression to "Dreamboat" level.
How to Get
Earn impression from winning fights against NPCs, claiming lionesses, or using Dove Feast on your pride leader. You'll receive this achievement once you level up from Extremely Impressive to Dreamboat.
Time To Shine
Attempted to impress a special lioness.
How to Get
Every Friday, a new special lioness is put up. Make sure you're a Dreamboat, then spend 50 SB to try and impress her.
Chug That Energy Boost
Use your first Energy Boost.
How to Get
Own or purchase an Energy Boost, then use it on your pride leader when you're out of energy. You can either use it through your Hoard or through the Explore page to trigger this achievement. Clicking the "Hit me up with that energy boost!" button does not grant you this achievement. You need to use the actual Energy Boost item.
Old Age Pensioner
Retire for the first time.
How to Get
You can still receive this achievement if you have retired your pride leaders before achievements were implemented. Wait until they can be retired for free, or early retire them for a fee.
Retirement Fund
Retire your lion with more than 10,000 Silver Beetles.
How to Get
You must have 10,000 Silver Beetles on-hand, not in a bundle, in a raffle, or offered in a trade, in order to get this achievement. The achievement will be awarded to you as soon as you complete your pride leader's retirement process.
Craftscat
Craft one item under Decor Crafting.
How to Get
Craft together items to create an applicator, background, or decor under Monkey Business's Crafting page.
Artisan
Craft 30 items total under Decor Crafting.
How to Get
Craft together items to create an applicator, background, or decor under Monkey Business's Crafting page 30 total times.
Who Needs Thumbs?!
Craft 100 items total under Decor Crafting.

Trading achievements can be received through the Trading Center and Monkey Business. They all involve selling something you own, either to another player or to Monkey Business! Make sure you save all your items and lions up to unlock these.

Hasta La Vista, Baby
Successfully trade one of your lionesses for the first time.
How to Get
An easy way to do this is to sell lions you don't care much about as karma fodder. The trade will get bought out quickly, so long as it is reasonably priced.
Easy Way Out
Buy a mutated lion from the Trading Center.
How to Get
Buyout or have your offer accepted on any trade that contains a mutated lion of any age and sex.
Take a Gamble
Participate in a raffle.
How to Get
Purchase a currency or item ticket in any player-owned raffle done through the official raffle system. The raffles hosted during Community Updates are perfect for this achievement, as each player is limited to one ticket per account and each ticket costs only 5 SB.
Order Up!
Make an offer on a trade.
How to Get
Make an offer containing beetles, currency, items, or lions on any trade in the Trading Center. You can remove your offer immediately after earning the achievement.
Pride
Pride achievements center around your leader's pride, and the actions they take when interacting with them. These achievements can be easy to get if your pride leader is neglectful, or difficult if you have a personal attachment to some lions.

Young Love
Successfully court and claim your first lioness.
How to Get
If you aren't a Dreamboat, you may get slapped a lot. Keep trying to impress NCLs in Explore until one agrees to go with you.
Bringing Home the Bacon
First successful lioness hunt.
How to Get
Purchase an experienced, high level lioness from another player at the Trading Center, or hope for the best when sending your lionesses out on a hunt.
Coming and Going
First lioness to leave the pride from hunger or boredom.
How to Get
Neglect feeding or playing with one specific lioness. You can reclaim her for 200 SB when she runs away.
Flying the Nest
First cub grew up into an adolescent.
How to Get
Keep a newborn cub until they age up to an adolescent, which takes 12 real life days (or 12 rollovers). You can also buy an 11 month old cub, and keep it until the next rollover.
See Ya Later, Alligator
First time chasing away a lioness.
How to Get
You can chase off a cub, adolescent, or lion of any sex to get this achievement.
Bad Dad
Chase off a lioness who has cubs.
How to Get
You cannot retrieve lionesses that you have chased, killed, or nature reserved. Make sure you attempt this with an NCL or lioness you don't care about.
Mutie-Lation
Chase, kill, or nature reserve a mutated lion.
How to Get
Chasing off a lion with any mutation, regardless of age or sex, will count for this achievement. It's best to use lions with the more "common" mutations, such as Achromia, Bobbed Tail, or Primal Fangs, to get this. This achievement also counts for cubs and adolescents whose mutations have not yet been revealed and are still hidden. Be sure to Falcon Eye your lions before getting rid of them, as you can't get them back!
Ahh, Retirement...
Retire a lioness with 100 or more successful hunts.
How to Get
Lionesses can be retired once they reach 14 years of age. Make sure you hunt your lioness starting from when she's 2 years of age, and she'll definitely have enough hunts by the time she ages up to 14.
Rest In Peace
First pride member death.
How to Get
Keep a lion until they die naturally of old age. This happens between 15 to 16 years of age.
Where Did They Go?
Equip a Translucent Jellyfish onto one of your lions.
How to Get
You can purchase the Translucent Jellyfish item from the Oasis for 2 GB. Equip one onto any lion in your pride and you'll get this achievement.
Fountain Of Youth
Use Argan Oil on one of your lions.
How to Get
Starting at 13 years of age, lions will get "age lines" or "wrinkles" that show they're getting older. Argan Oil can be purchased from the Oasis for 1 GB. Use Argan Oil on a lion that has age lines to get this achievement.
Bird's Eye View
Have the Falcon's Eye discover an abnormality with your cub.
How to Get
Pay the 60 SB fee for the Falcon's Eye on a cub that has a hidden mutation. If the Falcon discovers "something wrong" with them (meaning they have a hidden adult mutation), you'll get this achievement.
On Your Mark!
Use a marking applicator on one of your lions.
How to Get
Using any marking applicator on any of your lions, including your pride leader, will give you this achievement.
Home Base
Use a base changer on one of your lions.
How to Get
Using any base changer on any of your lions, including your pride leader, will give you this achievement.
Eyes On You
Use an eye colour changer on one of your lions.
How to Get
Using any eye colour changer on any of your lions, including your pride leader, will give you this achievement.
My Father's Final Words Were...
King an heir with a Snarky or Evil personality type.
How to Get
When retiring your pride leader, choose an heir that has a Snarky or Evil personality type. Any personality within those types will count for this achievement. You can either choose to keep your pride leader's appearance or keep your heir's appearance—the only thing that matters is your heir's personality.

Abandoning a cub or adolescent with any mutation, regardless of sex, will count for this achievement. It's best to use lions with the more "common" mutations, such as Achromia, Bobbed Tail, or Primal Fangs, to get this. This achievement also counts for cubs and adolescents whose mutations have not yet been revealed and are still hidden. Be sure to Falcon Eye your lions before getting rid of them, as you can't get them back!
Kittengarden
Train your first cub.
How to Get
Once a cub reaches 5 months of age, they can be cub trained. The first time you train an eligible cub, whether it is successful or otherwise, you will earn this achievement.
Kittengarden Graduate
Train your first cub to 100%.
How to Get
Despite the achievement's description, you can earn this achievement from having an adolescent reach 100% cub training as well. The fastest way to complete this would be through the use of Medlar Fruit, which will give +5% cub training for each item used. Otherwise, you can send out adolescent females on hunts (+1-2% per hunt) and adolescent males on patrols (+2-3% per patrol) to fill up the cub training bar without using items.
Senior Cessation
Kill a lion over 15 years of age.
How to Get
You cannot retrieve lions that you have killed. Make sure you attempt this with an NCL or lioness you don't care about.
Tough Luck
Have a subordinate male gain a scar after sparring with them.
How to Get
Any male lion aged 1 year or older can be sparred with, although your pride leader can only spar once per day. Eventually, through sparring as often as possible, your submale will gain a scar from the interaction.

Lions must have the "Hunter" role in order to be sent out on hunts. You can send out up to two adolescent lionesses on each hunt, regardless of how many adult lionesses will be on the same hunt. The first time you select an adolescent lioness to accompany adult lionesses on a hunt, you will earn this achievement.

Lionesses can be retired once they reach 14 years of age. Make sure you hunt your lioness starting from when she's 2 years of age, and she'll definitely have enough hunts by the time she ages up to 14.

How to Get
Make sure to breed your pride leader and sire a male cub, or use the appropriate sex changer item to change a female into a male. When retiring your pride leader, choose the aforementioned heir that your pride leader is listed as the "Father" for. You can either choose to keep your pride leader's appearance or keep your heir's appearance—the only thing that matters is that your pride leader is listed as their "Father".

Patrol successfully and bring back an item.

How to Get
Test your luck and use the "Roar" option at the start of every NPC battle. You'll only earn this achievement if both you and your opponent are at full health when your "Roar" scares them off. The best odds of getting this achievement are with NPCs who are susceptible to the "Roar" attack. You can find a list of these NPCs through the Battling Guide page. Any NPC who has "Roar" listed in the "Most Effective" column (especially if the text is in bold!) will be easier to defeat with a single "Roar".

The chances of receiving a rare marking from the Random Marking Applicator, Random Marking Replacer, or Total Shuffle are low. The best thing to do would be to buy a few RMAs or RMRs every so often, and use them on any lion you plan on keeping. RMAs are given as a reward for rolling over 29 consecutive days in a row, and can be useful for trying to get this achievement.

How to Get
Thousands of players enter into the Special Lioness contest each week. There is no way to improve your odds of winning, so just make sure you're at "Dreamboat" Impression and enter every week.
Magical Husband
Successfully breed to a lioness with 1% fertility in only one attempt without using any breeding guarantee items.
How to Get
This comes down entirely to luck and RNG. Angelic Blessings and Black Stallions count as breeding guarantee items, and breeding a 1% fertility lioness with these items equipped does not count towards this achievement. Reverse breedings and studding requests can earn you this achievement, as well.

Have a first generation hybrid born within your pride.

Your best chance at earning this achievement is to ensure you have at least 50 open territory slots and a Dreamboat pride leader, then claim 50 NCLs in Explore. The NCLs will be automatically in heat due to your leader's Impression level. From there, just breed with all of them on the same day, then feed them and play with them so they do not run away due to neglect.
All Hope Is Lost
Have a cub die from its survival bar reaching exactly 0%.
How to Get
Cubs that are not protected by a Broodmother will lose between 5% to 20% survival each rollover. This is ultimately just up to luck and chance, but you can boost your odds of getting this achievement by breeding (or buying) a lot of cubs and neglecting them to lower their survival rates. Eventually, one will die with its survival bar reaching 0%.
Triple Threat
Claim a lioness that is chased, posed, and comes with a Cotton Root Bark effect.
How to Get
NCLs only spawn with CRB effects if your pride leader is a Dreamboat. Once your leader is a Dreamboat, from there, this just falls down to luck and chance. Using Catnip to spawn as many NCL encounters in Explore as possible might help, and you'll want to claim as many chased NCLs as possible to maximise your chances. Chased NCLs are indicated with a gold star at the top of the claiming interface.

How to Get
The easiest way to get this achievement would be to ensure the zebra is trapped, but has at least two tiles it can move between without the level ending. Then, you can put down lionesses on all other tiles that aren't occupied by obstacles before finally trapping the zebra. Once you win a level by filling all available spaces with lionesses, you must send your score to earn this achievement.
